Dear Resident

We are appealing for information about an attempt burglary at The Grange Store, The Wye, Daventry. The attempt burglary happened on Monday 1st December 2025, The offenders first came to the store at midnight and returned between 1:26am-1:45am.

The offender or offenders forced entry to shutter doors no entry gained to the store at this time.

Business burglary

Ensure your premises are alarmed. If you are in a remote location, your alarm should be remotely monitored and any confirmed activations forwarded directly to police for response.

Make sure your premises has good lighting covering access points and dark or hidden areas

Invest in CCTV to deter and detect crime

Retailers should leave their tills empty overnight with till drawer left open to avoid any damage

Valuable items should be stored within a securely locked cupboard/cage within the building
